My favorite book .... hmmm ohh I am really bad at picking one thing aren't I!

This book is amazing, it's like a fairy tale! It's the first book I ever read by Cecilia Ahern and since then I have bought every book she has written!

This book is about a soldier from the second world war who, during the christmas day truce, meets a german soldier who wants him to find the girl he is in love with. It is a really good book that has a brilliant plot and I couldn't put it down!

The Office

I love the office! It's so funny and i think Pam/Jim are THE best TV couple! Some of the things michael says are just stupid but you have to love him anyway! I love the tricks that Jim plays on Dwight! E.g. when he put Dwight's desk in the toilet!

LOST

Although it completley confuses the hell out of me it is an amazing program, you grow to love each character and rack your brain trying to figure out what the hell is going on! I really can't wait for season 6 although I don't want it to finish!!

Day 01 → Your favorite song

Seriously? I have to choose?! Ok well I am going to break the rules and do a top 10 (which won't be at all accurate because I have far too many!) In no particular order!

1. Home - Daughtry My best friend and I always send a txt to each other when we are on the train going ' I'm going hoooome back to the place where I belooong!!' which always gets it stuck in our heads! I also adore the new song they have collaborated with Timbaland called Long Way Down.

2. Lay Em Down - Needtobreathe I &hearts; Needtobreathe so much! They always make me feel happy!
Was close to picking Restless too!!

3. Lifted - The Lighthouse Family I love this song because it reminds me of driving in the car with my mum! I love the tune too it's a happy song!

4. I Want To Break Free - Queen It was a close call between Kind of Magic and Who Wants to live forever but Queen are one of my faviourite bands and this song reminds me of my Dad and driving in the car with my best friend singing at the top of our voices! Another song that I love that reminds me of Dad is Bat Out of Hell by Meatloaf! We always used to sing with him in the van, delivering flowers!

5. Closer To Love - Mat Kearney Well it has the most plays on my iPod so I guess that counts!

6. I Wish - R. Kelly I know this is really depressing but when I was going through the first few months after Dad died this song really meant something to me and got me through it. I know it has swearing in and stuff but the message of it is really good and made me realise i wasn't alone.

7. From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars I love 30 Seconds To Mars!! And this is one of my faviourite songs they have done! I love Night of the Hunter too!

8. In The End - Linkin Park Epic song. Reminds me of my best friend!

9. Desire - Phil Wickham I am not religous but I love the tune, it's a beautiful song and I love Phil's voice!

10. Blackout - Muse Muse are one of my faviourite bands and this is the song that made me fall in love with them!

Wow. Love Timbaland's new album! And I have a new banner of the stunning Jared Leto! Wew Hew!! Can't actually stop listening to 30 STM at the moment which is probably really annoying my house mates!! It's my day off today thank goodness and i have spent the majority of the day singing along to my music and reading :P Rock on lol!

Right ... well after the epic fall I had two days ago finally my ankle has healed and I am going back to work tomorrow! YAY! Excited! Although I can't say I haven't enjoyed my time catching up on House! :)
I have to let my manager know that I'm moving to New Zealand in April but I don't really know how to put it, I'm scared i am going to get shouted at or something!
Also good news, my Auntie has decided that it's time to spread Dad and Nanny's ashes so that will be good, at least i will have somewhere to go now if i want to 'talk' to Dad. I am majorly scared though, about how I will feel on the day. It's going to make it feel real, not that it doesn't already but it's finalising it and it's scary thinking about the emotions it's going to bring up. I haven't really let all my feelings out i don't think, because I have been trying to look after everybody else. So I think I am going to be an emotional wreck when i go. I suppose it's a good thing though, at least when I am off on my travels it really will be a fresh start for me. Anyway I am off to bed!! ... Ok when I say that I actually mean I am going to watch a couple of episodes of Smallville (I'm only on Season 1!!) and THEN go to bed but yeah lol!

Well ... don't I just have the best mother in the world. I am now borderline homeless because mum says that I need to pay her more rent and because I have no job at the moment that means I can't. So. She's thrown me out. I have to find somewhere to live in a fortnight. Great. I mean hows that for a mothers love right?

By the way I left Bank-Smart because Charlie was bullying me, okay not the best idea given the financial climate at the moment I know but it's better than being bullied all day.

I'm really angry and not really too sure what I am supposed to do, I went to see if I could get some advice from the Young Persons Centre in town and they were very helpful but everywhere is really really expensive.

*sigh*

I don't know.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

LOL!!! This is a complaint to the police that was made by a real person it's so funny!!!

This is a genuine complaint to Devon & Cornwall Police Force from an angry member of the public. True email sent to the force, lengthy but brilliantly written.....

Dear Sir/madam/automated telephone answering service,
Having spent the past twenty minutes waiting for someone at Bodmin
police station to pick up a telephone I have decided to abandon the idea and try e-mailing you instead.

Perhaps you would be so kind as to pass this message on to your
colleagues in
Bodmin, by means of smoke signal, carrier pigeon or Ouija board.

As I'm writing this e-mail there are eleven failed medical experiments
(I think you call them youths) in St Marys Crescent, which is just off St Marys Road in Bodmin.
Six of them seem happy enough to play a game which involves kicking a
football against an iron gate with the force of a meteorite.
This causes an earth shattering CLANG! which rings throughout the
entire building.
This game is now in its third week and as I am unsure how the scoring
system works, I have no idea if it will end any time soon.

The remaining five walking abortions are happily rummaging through
several bags of rubbish and items of furniture that someone has so thoughtfully dumped beside the wheelie bins.
One of them has found a saw and is setting about a discarded chair like
a beaver on speed.
I fear that it's only a matter of time before they turn their limited
attention to the bottle of calor gas that is lying on its side between the two
bins.
If they could be relied on to only blow their own arms and legs off
then I would happily leave them to it. I would even go so far as to lend them the matches. Unfortunately they are far more likely to blow up half the street with them and I've just finished decorating the kitchen.

What I suggest is this - after replying to this e-mail with worthless
assurances that the matter is being looked into and will be dealt with,
why not leave it until the one night of the year (probably bath night) when
there are no mutants around then drive up the street in a panda car before doing a three point turn and disappearing again.
This will of course serve no other purpose than to remind us what
policemen actually look like.

I trust that when I take a claw hammer to the skull of one of these
throwbacks you'll do me the same courtesy of giving me a four month head start before coming to arrest me.

originale-mail. 16 hours and 38 minutes must be a personal record for Bodmin Police station, and rest assured that I will forward these details to Norris McWhirter for inclusion in his next book.
Secondly I was delighted to hear that our street has its own community
beat officer.

May I be the first to congratulate you on your covert skills?
In the five or so years I have lived in St Marys Crescent , I have never
seen you.
Do you hide up a tree or have you gone deep undercover and infiltrated
the gang itself?
Are you the one with the acne and the moustache on his forehead or the
one with a chin like a wash hand basin?
It's surely only a matter of time before you are headhunted by MI5.

Whilst I realise that there may be far more serious crimes taking place
in Bodmin, such as smoking in a public place or being Muslim without due
care and attention, is it too much to ask for a policeman to explain (using
words of no more than two syllables at a time) to these morons that they might want to play their strange football game elsewhere.
The pitch on Fairpark Road, or the one at Priory Park are both within
spitting distance as is the bottom of the Par Dock.
